Policies and Rules

  • No pets allowed.
  • No smoking inside the home.
  • No parties or events allowed.
  • Minimum age to reserve is 25 years. The person reserving must sign the agreement and must be present during the stay.
  • Children allowed. No crib on site.
  • Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.

Fees and Payments

  • Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking, or by calling with a week's notice. Two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a firestarter are $25 plus tax.
  • All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

Cancellation Policy

  • Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit.
  • Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit.
  • Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest.

Parking and Access in Winter

  • 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March). Guests are responsible for arriving prepared with the appropriate vehicle. No refunds or date changes for not complying with this requirement as outlined in the Rental Agreement.

Utilities and Amenities

  • Propane heat provided. No air-conditioning.
  • Towels and bed linens provided.
  • Hair dryer available.
  • Well stocked kitchen with utensils, cooking basics, stove, oven, dishwasher, and toaster.
  • "Starter set" of paper products provided (toilet paper per bath, garbage bags, small vial of dishwashing liquid, dishwasher tablets, laundry pods, paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, makeup remover cloths). These are intended for one or two nights.
